Research Note - Dundee Precious Metals Inc. (DPM:TSX, $8.80|BUY $15.50 TARGET) - Ada Tepe Mine Updated Lom Plan And Increased Production
OVERVIEW:
On January 12th, 2023, DPM announced a new Life of Mine (LOM) plan with additional production and an updated mineral reserve and resource estimate for its Ada Tepe Mine. The company has improved their LOM plan, increasing their estimated LOM recovered gold to concentrate by approximately 60 Koz and a higher average gold grade of 5.2g/t, compared to a previous 4.6g/t in their previous 2020 LOM plan. These increased grades will add an average additional gold production of approximately 16.5 Koz per year from 2023 through 2026.

EXPLORATION AT ADA TEPE:
2022 exploration activities focused on extending the resource at Ada Tepe, satellites in the Khan Krum mine concession area, and other target campaigns on the Chiirite and Dalbokata Reka exploration licenses. The Company drilled approximately 9,400m over 47 holes in the year.

A dedicated drilling program consisting of 17 holes for 2,686m to test for potential mineralized extensions to the north and conceptual feeder structures at depth. The Company is currently assessing whether a follow-up program is required in this area.

During 2023, DPM will be conducting an approximate 11,000m of drilling within the Krumovgrad camp, primarily targeting the Chiirite license area, while the Company finalizes permitting for the Krumovitsa license area (expected in Q3 2023). There is potential for drilling to increase to 26,000m on the year, subject to timing of permits.
